Tasting delicious bites, pastry making, coffee beans reading, wine tasting, storytelling, interacting with locals – experience all this and more and embark on this 6 hour journey!
Experience the absolute food immersion and an explosion of tastes! Begin with some freshly made pastries and other bites at flavorful venues only locals know about. Learn about Greek traditions and habits while walking towards the colorful local market (open from Monday to Saturday) to taste different kinds of olives and have a friendly chat with locals. This lively atmosphere will make you even more enthusiastic! Next, take a pleasant break and relax with some Greek coffee at an unexpected venue.
After you’ve rested, walk through pretty small streets and let us take you to sample typical Greek street food at the city center. And who can resist incredible sweet delights prepared at the open kitchen of a top pastry shop in Thessaloniki? Next stop: a traditional tavern serving mouth-watering lunch bites from the Greek cuisine you can never get bored of. You may think you’ve had enough treats, but wait for it! - The experience does not finish at the starting point. Detailed return directions are provided.
- Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended as on average 3.3 kilometers are covered.
- We are child friendly! Children under 4 do not require a separate ticket.
- Children from 5 to 12 years old pay half price tickets.
- Meeting point: Inside the Port of Thessaloniki, across Eleftherias Square (by the white mast).
